Dear all, In Vikas scheme, the flux in the advection term is evaluated by See Marchisio and Fox (2013), page 341. It implies the phiLeft is different with phiRight. I do implement such algorithm. However, I found nonphysical results in my test cases. The problem can be fixed by assuming phiLeft = phiRight, and the results are pretty good. But it is not consistent with the theory. In the spirit of the flux splitting, I do think the equations are right (particles are convected from left to right and right to left...by their left velocity and right velocity). I did not figure out why the results are smashed I found this problem two years ago, but I did not take is seriously, and I just assume phiLeft = phiRight. Today I would like to discuss it more a little bit Best,
