Currently I am using drift flux solver in open foam for my project and the next phase of the project is to implement new phsyics such as the flocculation process to the solver from here it was my first time to start dealing with population balane equaiton. with some research I managed to find QBMM solver. I did some research in how the whole idea of treating the population balance equation with the moments princple. before getting any further, Is it possible to couple the driftFluxFoam with population models and will it represent what i need?
what I noticed till this moment that the population model require the velocity field from the cfd solver for multi phase (diffrent particle classes each class is phase) and then start to solve for the internal property (particle sizes in my case) and give me the solution (the particle size distribuaiton)
However what I need is two way coupling which means that the output of the population model (new fractions for the classes) will be the input to the multiphase solver in the next time step,
Is this is also happening in the population coupling with the solvers or should I look how to do it myself?

The coupling needs to be done by you if you add the PBE solver to a multiphase solver we do not provide. You can however access the moment vector and, from it, find the quantities you need to perform the coupling.
